Regional Settings?

I am using WinXP, D7E and acessing dBase/Foxplus tables with ADOQuery components.
The aplication runs smooth on my PC.
On another PC with WinXP also or W98 or Win95 it gives some erros like "This field is float and should be string" and similar ones.
I changes the decinmal point and coma, and some errors desapeared but still I have some like the one above.
I would be very greatfull for a hint and help.
