ADO query parameters

Hi,

I'm converting a bde app to ado (delphi 7, access 2000 format database). Is
there an equivalent to BDE paramByName? I can't seem to get it to work, I
need to use query.parameters[int].value. That is much harder to read and
in several queries it requires multiple assignments when a parameter appears
more than once.
