Hello ,

I"m checking the option to convert my application (Delphi7/ ADO / MsSql) to
3 tier.

My questions are :
1) What benefits would it give me ? ( performance) ? Should i be carfull ?
what do i save ? after all the data need to come to the client anyway .... ?
2) I know about 2 options one is ASTA and other is Midas (more?) ? what is
the best ? what should (if) i install on the server ? application / service
? use IIS ?
3) What difficulties may i found out in doing such a converting ? does it
mean starting (almost) to write application from the begin ?
4) anyone know regarding the licence policy ?

Thank you
Asi
