Using D6, Microsoft access database and ADO

Using an adocommnd.execute with an UPDATE string in the command text. the
WHERE clause indicates the record to update. I expected to get an error if
no match was found for the parameters in the where clause, but I did not.
Is there a good way to check for this case? I would like to report an error
on this condition.
