I have a commercial product that works well under MSSQL 2000. The user
simply "attaches" the databases from my product to MSSQL 2000 and my Delphi
7.0 Pro client using ADO and MDAC 2.0 then connects and works with those
databases.
Is is possible for someone who has only MS Access 2000 or later, which uses
the MSDE, to be able to use these same databases as well? If so what would
be the procedure for them to install and use the product MSSQL 2000
databases with MS Access 2000 or later? I assume the ADO side would be the
same. Any negative things I need to be aware of here?
