ADO and DBGrid and DbEdit

Hello I have a DBGrid and ADO working OK but when I add DBEdit fields
linked to same ADOQuery1-DataSource1-Object the project does not compile
producing error message 'field not found' (this being the field accessed
by DBEdit).

I have Win XP Pro with SP 1
and
Delphi 5 Enterprise with Update 1

any help is appreciated ???
