Wrong number of parameters?!?!

Hello all, Wolfe here.

Got a serious problem.

Whenever I try to connect to the database (a DB2 UDB v7.x) I get the
following error:

The program encountered the following error(s) while trying to carry out
its work:

** CLI0100E Wrong number of parameters. SQLSTATE=07001

Now, I could understand this if I were trying to execute a stored
procedure, but this error occurs when I try to connect to the database.
It did not occur with the previous fixpack of DB2 but now seems to be
stuck there (as if something the later fixpack does isn't being removed)
and as much as the idea of rolling back the computers with the new
fixpack by reinstalling them, we'd have to do so to more than 2,000
computers already out in the field (translation: not an option).

By the way, if it matters, here are the nitty gritties:

Client:
        Windows XP Professional
        DB2 UDB v 7.x Client
        Delphi 7 using ADO

Thanks for the help,

Wolfe
