ADO XBase dBase III with hebrew

Hello
I have a dbase table (coming from an external source) with hebrew fields
Whe I put it in a BDE DBGrid - I see the hebrew OK
As I want to work with it using ADO (OLE-DB with Jet 4.0), I put it in a
DBGrid and the hebrew is garbadged (question marks)
I looked for a property in the ADOConnection, or
ADOConnection.ConnectionString - but failed to find a property relating to
this issue. I thought maybe there is a special string in the "Extended
property" as I write there "dbase III" but did not find anythig relating to
this. If you know the soultion (maybe for another language) - please let me
know
