I used D5 pro (which has no ADO components, maybe that's why you get this
error message?) together with Adonis components from www.winsoft.sk for the
last three years and they are very stable and i did not find any errors
(but used them only for SQl Server).
Maybe you can try ado components from Deer-Soft, i believe they are free.
But in every way it is a very good idea to change from BDE to ADO.
