Thai Characters not pulling from Access, showing ????????

I have a program that is pulling some Thai characters from an Access
database using a provider of Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0. When pulling using
Dataset.Fields[ FTranslationIndex].AsString, shows in both the frame and
when stepping through as ????????. The frame is setup using Tahoma, which
includes the Thai character set and the computer running the program has the
Thai characterset installed. Any ideas?
