Invalid Variant Type

Since I install the Delphi 7.1 Update, all my ADO/MS SQL Server applications
generate a 'Invalid Variant Type' error at every post, running on Windows
2000 (Pro and Server) and Windows 98. This error does not occur on Windows
XP systems.

Is there a way to uninstall this update??

Thank you for helping
