Re: Error creating object. MDA Components 2.1 installed!




I have D2006Pro. If I try to put a dbGo component as, for example,
TADOConnection, I recieve this error message:
"Error creating object. Please verify that Microsoft Data Access
Components 2.1 (or later) have been properly installed"

I downloaded MDAC 2.8 or something similar, but installing it says that
Microsoft Data Access Components is already installed as part of Windows
XP...

Where is the problem?
Probably a damaged version of MDAC.
What version of Windows do you have
if it is XP you can find directions for reinstalling MDAC here
