Yup I had done so and I also had install 'MDAC_TYP.EXE' - MDAC version 2.8
but in my customer side still cannot open the table.

Is it this is some related to Delphi database engine.

Delphi doesn't have a database engine. Do you mean BDE?
It might be. My guess is you do not have the same ODBC driver version installed
and that is where your problem is.
