Re: How to connect to Access/Excel files via ADO in MDAC 2.8, and Vista?

Starting with MDAC 2.6, Microsoft dropped support for Jet, and the ODBC Database Drivers.

Jet wasn't dropped as much as it was decoupled from MDAC.
You still get JET with Windows XP and there are separate updates
Does that means that it is no longer possible to connect to Access/Excel files via ADO in MDAC 2.8 or under Windows Vista?
I don't know about Windows Vista but MDAC 2.8 does not remove JET so it is still
available.
