Describe "many bug". We use ADO almost exclusivly with no problems at all.
In fact, system performance and application reliability couldn't be better.

How well? Our web site, http://www.midwayusa.com, is nearly 100% Delphi (D6
CGI/ISAPI), using ADO (TADODataSet, TADOCommand, etc) against MSSQL
2000/2005.
