You should probably avoid tadotable, it is for backward compatibility, you
are opening and reading in the entire file ,, which if it is large is a real
problem. If you dont have a primare key in your table, or if you dont select
the primary key in a TADODataset (use that instead of tadotable), then the
DB engine has to read every record in the file trying to determine which
record comes closest to matching the one that your are trying to update.
