Re: MSDE Performance and Reliability

Johnnie,

I have found it to be supurb. Unless the database is very large or requires
some very special features, it is coded the same way. I literaly just
change the connection string and move back and forth between the full SQL
and SQL Express. All the database features, SP's, and Triggers seem to work
the same - I haven't found anything crippled. I think it is a fantastic
product and I have never experienced corruption or any other problems of the
kind while using either SQL and SQL Exprerr/MSDE in dozens of mission
critical applications.

Good luck,

Robert Baker

How does MSDE or SQL Server Express or whatever it is called now compare
to other Delphi databases? I can't seem to find any statistics or comments
on it.

Thanks,
Johnnie
