I have found it to be supurb. Unless the database is very<good info snipped >
I uninstalled whatever version came with Visual Studio and installed the
latest SQL Express and the tools. So far, it looks pretty good. I have been
considering using it to awhile and learning more about SQL Server could
never hurt.
How large of an installation at a single site have you seen? I have a large
number of computers attached to a network, but access to my database is
actually quite dettached so there are few concurrent file accesses, and
those are short.
My database with all table will probably be up to 1.5 GB maximum.
If I have TCP/IP access open and whatever ports it uses, can I access the
database remotely over the internet with this version?
I look forward to learning some more about this product, so any good book
recommendations would help. I like to sit and turn pages and not read online
all the time.
Thanks a bunch!
Johnnie
