PS ..

Another objection I have to backend business rules is that another
requirement surfaces where you have to do certain updates to the data from
another program and the triggers and backend logic dont really apply .. or
maybe just reading the data. Then you have to worry about special logic to
allow the rule to be enfored or not, when does the trigger apply, etc ...
