Re: ADO over Vista

Howdy!

I had a few very brief tests of running an old application under Vista, and I got the impression that the application behaved fairly strange.

Opening the database file in Access 2007, I got warnings that the database might be unsafe (opened in read only mode) and running the application to edit the date, it seemed to be open in read only mode.

Under Vista, avoid storing access mdb files under \Program Files.
Write access will be "virtualized" and re-routed to the user's profile
directory.
