I meant replace:
ProgIDToClassID('SQLOLEDB Enumerator')
with
ProgIDToClassID('SQLNCLI Enumerator').

Also have you checked that MS SQL Server Management Studio can list yours
2005 Server instance from remote computer without manual registration.
