Delphi wont start

my XP machine crashed and when I rebooted and attempted to open the Delphi 7
IDE i get a message stating:...
<Borland license information was found but is not valid for Delphi. You
cannot run Delphi without his information.
Click the exit button to close.>
what's going on here ? I tried to reboot again to no avail.
