All related and can be done using the hack I mentioned to the initial
post. Only works for VCL.NET applications. For WinForms, blame
Microsoft for the limitation!

Well you can remove this because removing the startpageide71.bpl from
the Known IDE Packages key in the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\BDS\2.0\Known IDE Packages.
You can also customise the HTML by making modifications to the HTML in
the WelcomePage folder in your installation directory.

that's a bit harsh I think. remember it might be version 8 produce but
IDE is version 2 (more like 1.5). Didn't get dockable windows until
delphi 4. Give them another IDE release or 2 for all of this
customization.

It grows on you. I'd like a VENDOR dropdown button to be able to
filter by vendor as well as category though!
