easy question... Selecting multiple components

    in Delphi 3, while in the designer, I could hold down the CTRL key while
    holding down the left mouse and select a number of components at once.
    In D6/7 that does not appear to work. I know that CTRL now has something
    to do with docking (or force no docking). How does one use the
    mouse/keyboard to select multiple components now?
