Yes, I see that you have separate routines for counting Intel and AMD
CPUs in the routine that you posted. It works great for me, but I
don't have a dual core system handy. :)

I'll post a test app and ask someone with a dual core system (AMD or
Intel) to give it a try. On Monday I can try it on a dual Xeon with
hyperthreading.
