Hi Lars
AMD 64 X2 supports SSE3 which old AMD 64 does not. That is one of the
bigger
differences.
Yes I can renember what.
The amd family is getting big here is a short list
Manila
Troy
Italy
Newcastle
Clawhammer
Windsor
Denmark
Winchester
Venice
Orleans
Palermo
San Diego
Toledo
All the new AMD's use the same core and the only way to get another core
is
to add Athlon XP to the target set. But we removed it last year because it
is getting old.
thanks ok
As I see it we need to have the two current AMD targets and then 3 or 4
Intel targets to get the balance rigth. The Intel/AMD ratio for Fastcode
interested people is approx. 50/50 and it is more like 75/25 in the
general
market place. I think it is proper for us to use 4/2 = 66/33.
I think you are right.
Only challenge using more than one core is MM.Thanks
