And that about AMD Mobile Sempron = AMD Sempron = AMD 64 ?

They are build on the same core. They differ in cachesize and this will
matter in MM and Move and FillChar challenges. To reduce the power they need
the reduce the core voltage and clock down.

The Core 2 comes from 9-125 watts I think. I cannot remember the numbers for
AMD.

As for validation i like we have (old) cpu´s. To test that we not release
a
function as sse only with sse2 code in it.

Yes we simply needs this. I have managed to borrow a P2 and then I have
gotten my first PC back from my mother. It is a 486 dx2 66 :-)) I will start
focusing on validation after we have ended the 2006 competition - probably
tomorrow.
