I am a developer, I have the trial version of Delphi 7 to see if I want
to spend the money to upgrade to new technology. The applications which
I have sold are written in Paradox so some of the Delphi ways of doing
things are familiar.
I have been trying some things out. My main focus is to see how to
access databases. I have a bunch of Paradox ones. So I developed a
little form with a push button to which I attach code for things that I
want to learn how to use. My form has a table on it and I am
experimenting with how to navigate through tables. I run it (F9), push
the button to see what happens. Either I get an error or it does
something. I close the form with the 'X' and go back and try something
else. So far, so good. But eventually, I will get a 'insufficient
memory' error and I have to boot the machine to get going again. The try
after reboot does not get that error.
Any ideas?
Jochen
