"Sign in with Microsoft .NET Passwort" Message?

Hello,

I have a program that scans a drive using the FindFirstFile/FindNextFile
APIs. It works on a lot of different machines all over the world.

However, I now have a customer in Switzerland who is getting the message
"Sign in with Microsoft .NET Passwort" many times when they scan a
drive... I have had this happen once or twice before - but switching to
a different build (Non Softwrapped) has always fixed the problem. This
time it doesn't...

The program uses some other APIs (all Win32) to get File Owner and NTFS
Permissions - but these have always worked over the last 6 to 7 years at
other client sites.

Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?

The person getting this error message is running Windows XP SP1 English
edition on their PC - and the servers with the disk space being sized
are running Novell Netware 5/6. As far as they know - they do not have
passport installed on the PC...

Any ideas? Any leads would be very appreciated!
