U think so? I don't <g>.
I think M$ has SO WAY MANY resources that it's not really
risking too much. Remember that M$ holds about 90% of current
home and office installs, and I think it has a "B plan" just in case... <g>
And if dotNET doesn't go where M$ wants to go( (c) <g> ), you'll see
that they'll come out with some other thing like the very cool COM++ :-)

I don't view them skeptically, I just don't and never will TRUST them <g>.
They're saying LIES, in my opinion. They LIE not because they need to but
because they're USED to.
When you hear B. Gates speaking, you should always try and see beyond his
words, because there's always a trap in it. And, afterwards, they always say
"we
said it and you said nothing". Puah!
Marco Cantu' said that dotNET modifies the EXE loader... that's just the
first step... once you modify the loader, with the software signature(
already
present for the drivers - which was said to be for our safety, remember? ),
M$ can
ensure that the only new Win32 App will be theirs or anyway property of its
"friends".
Now, can this be considered a Sci-Fi scenario?
I don't think so.

Andrew
