The whining-level is getting out of hand

Why now are so many new names coming onto the forum to express their
unhappiness with Delphi?

Why is so important to people who have allegedly switched to some other
product to come here and tell us about it? I would think they would be
participating in those other newsgroups.

It seems strange that just as Delphi.Net, an incredibly bold step and
potentially a major seller, is about to be released, there is suddenly
an army of annoying strangers, newbies, and anger-management-cases
dropping in to make hostile comments.

Hey, if it was up to me, sure, the Delphi development team would all be
assigned to only fixing the bugs, defects, and wishlist items that
affect me personally, but I don't think Borland is committing a major
crime by not making me #1 on their list.

Why all the crybaby stuff suddenly?

In a dreamworld, my original version of Delphi would have been upgraded
free continuously out of gratitude for my onetime investment (what - 300
bucks back then), but since this isn't the people's republic of Borland
and there are no commissars to devote taxpayer's money to subsidizing my
software business, we have to pay for each upgrade, including ones that
fix bugs in prior versions. If you don't like that, there is this new
thing called the open-source movement and everything there is free - so
go use that stuff and leave us alone already!

The whining-level is getting out of hand.
