I'm determined to keep things professional so I'll limit myself to this:

I would ask you not to make false statements about me or what I have
said. I cannot recall a single instance where I have ever claimed that
Borland or TeamB have cancelled posts. In fact, I have searched
Tamaracka.com all the way back to 1998. I have never even mentioned
the word cancel in terms of newsgroup posts.

I don't know what definition of the word 'representative' you are using
but this is the one I refer to (from www.dictionary.com)

"Like or typical of others of the same class."

I am a developer. Have used Delphi since V1. Have taught Delphi in the
UK and US, have worked as a single developer, consultant, corporate
developer, developer in military and government circles. I'd say that
makes me fairly representative. The only difference between me and the
other 75 corporate developers you mention is that I talk with you in
these newsgroups.

I don't think developers here are listened to. For evidence, go look at
QC for examples. There are some reports that have been there for many,
many months. No feedback. No response and, as yet, not many fixes
either.

Words are cheap. Show me the money. Show me a patch for D7. Show me
innovation in Delphi. Don't give me late solutions.

As to your statement '"Borland" doesn't necessarily have a single
opinion about any particular issue', I'll be charitable and say that
perhaps you should re-read what you have written. Whilst I can
understand that the people in Borland may have different opinions, the
company has *GOT* to have a single opinion on matters of substance.
