And John, you do realize that if everyone operated their business like this
that no company would have more than a single employee, the owner. It is very
rare that a company can grow solely on internal cash flow, let alone add one
year's pay for everyone to the invested cash. Don't you think that if the
business needs to borrow any money that the bank and creditors will have
superior rights to that rainy day money?

Cmon, didn't you used to teach this stuff?

And didn't you say that you would outsource stuff to other companies? Doesn't
that just shift the risk of lay-offs to another entity? If you give that
company $50K of business this year, but zero next year, how does that affect
their employees? Is it their management's fault? The only way they could
have prevented it is by refusing your business in the first place. And if no
one will accept your outsourcing, won't you have to hire someone even if you
might not have an extra year's pay on hand?
