Tell you what. If TeamB members and Borlanders would be more frank with
us and be much less patronizing with us, then I would not rant or make
such unqualified broadsides about TeamB or Borland.

I have the utmost respect for John Kaster. He went to bat for us and
got the IIRC patch released for D6 after D7 was released. I would also
like to thank anyone else that had a hand in this.

I have the utmost respect for Ramesh. He told us poor dbExpress
developers that he was not given the time to fix many of the problems
with dbExpress between D6 and D7.

I appreciate all you have been trying to do and making frank statements
about how there is no reason the midas.dll source code shouldn't be
released, specifically TClientDataSet. You have also made the same
basic frank statement about dbExpress drivers.

On the flip side we have Nick claiming the top 10 QC vote getters
are all enhancement requests. Technically that is true, but actually
4 are out and out pleas for bug fixes from Borland in the nature of
actual binaries or the source so we can fix the bugs ourselves.

How about the big argument about SP. "We have released SPs!" was the
party line, when every programmer in the world knew we were talking
about a core SP for Delphi. Finally someone ask about what SPs
effecting the Pro SKU and then we stopped hearing the party line from
Borland and TeamB.

Treat us like we are actually intelligent and maybe we will act like
we actually are intelligent!

Being fed the party line as tho we are lemmings gets tiring too!

It's a new year. I will start acting intelligent if Borland and TeamB
start treating me like I am intelligent!

Get your bugs in QC and vote!
