Nah. The tried and tested "Delphi" does it for me. Makes me feel like
an Artist as opposed to a Sweat-shop coder. <g>

I used to be of the mind that I needed to convert everyone to the ways
of Delphi but, after losing that battle at work, am content to sit on
my high horse and laugh silently at the masses below doing it tough by
using inferior tools without even realising it. :-)

To be fair to Microsoft though, they have done a pretty good job with
VS.NET. But I still don't see what benefit it gives me over Delphi for
developing Windows based GUI clients today.

Don't get me wrong, .NET will have a very important role in the future,
the Framework *is* nice to work with, and I hear it's totally kick-ass
for web development. But for my money, when developing GUI apps
targetting a Win32 operating system, Delphi wins hands down every time.
