I'm agree. In my opinion not wanting to break dcu/bpl compatibility is
a COP OUT. What happens now if someone that distributes with packages
and they both rely on them being in the system32 folder and Product A
uses 7.0 and Product B uses 7.01 and Product B relies on a bug that was
addressed in 7.01. BOOM!

Much more of a headache than having to contend with 3rd party vendors
not releasing a version compiled with the latest compiler.

What active components distributed with NO SOURCE have not been updated
to work with the latest compiler. Surely there must be some examples
for this approach to have been taken.

(who didn't even care about a d7 patch (although found out he needed
one fix included in it) but finds the fact that no interface changes
requirement is backwards (no pun intended).

I'm of the opinion there should have been a 7.5 release done for a
nominal charge (say 25% pro upgrade - it's an EXAMPLE price).
