The problem with all your prognostication is that nobody knows enough to
answer any of the questions you pose, no matter what tool or language is
under discussion. If the past is any guide to the present and future, then
even the most educated guess about the future of technology is just wild
speculation that is probably very wrong. Twenty years ago the best educated
guesses were suggesting that C, Fortran and BASIC were the languages
everyone should use for long-term projects. But heaven help any programmer
that needs to maintain a 20 year old C, Fortran or BASIC program now. And
the less said about COBOL the better.
