Actually, I think they were willing to grasp the value proposition
after the presentation. Maybe I'll capture the whole thing to a
camtasia and get it up on BDN before the end of this year.

There's always room for "Eureka!"

Perhaps. I was a "small shop" for most of my professional career. In
fact, I'm now a "small shop" inside Borland, responsible for developing
an information resource for millions of users on a budget that wouldn't
keep a one-man shop in business. IOW, I've never stopped having a
'small shop" mentality because I've never stopped being part of one.

It's been my experience that small shops can be *at least* as
productive as a big shop if they use superior tools and have clear
thinking and good processes.

That must be some other competitor's tools, not ours. :P

Yes ... a great strategy for that is providing them a tool that works
with their CURRENT software choices but gains them superior
capabilities. I think we've got that covered.

Dan, after all this, do you really think I still need the "clue"? If
you do, I guess we haven't been communicating at all, or you've missed
all my other posts. Or are you talking in general about Borland here?

I appreciate your efforts. This has been a good discussion.
