Not really, since they have had the VCL-derivative "CLX" (which is
based on Qt) for years. About time they start using their own stuff...

Where's the improvement for me? I want to develop, debug and
especially document my Delphi apps more quickly and more
comfortably with the fastest IDE available. Not more bells
and whistles. The Jbuilder IDE is a hog.
If Borland wants to write a product to compete with Visual
Studio, they should either do it right or not do it at all.
I'd rather they take their time than come up with the next
yearly unfinished update. Nobody is waiting for another
CbuilderX catastrophe. Even Microsoft didn't make the mistake
to write the VS.NET IDE in something else but native code.
