Ever do a Compare-n-modify during checkin? Something I (and others) do on
every checkin, and StarTeam fails miserably to make it easy. WinCVS is a
dream come true in this area.

Use them more than just casually, and you'll see lots of things are awful.
I've already been down this road with Borland. They confirmed our findings.

They are bad enough to have to contact several tech support folk, so yes,
they are a big deal to us.

I 'd encourage people to try Team Coherence or Subversion and report their
experiences here. I'm always on the lookout for a better SCM tool.
