I think you see it as indefensible, Dan sees it perfectly
reasonable. I don't see the two ends of the spectrum being able to
discuss it rationally.

I see it as Borland's right to do whatever it wants with it's
property. I don't agree with it, but it's not my call. It's also
not very likely decided by anyone who peruses these newsgroups.

Why would John or anyone else even report our misery, when we
express it so personally? If they don't see the business case to
Borland to spread the demo, emotional, "isn't it obvious" arguments
aren't going to work.
