thank you for your honest response. I just watched the new BDNTV entry
about the db features in D9. It's really good!

I have a non-tech question about remoting though. Why do I need
remoting when I could connect to the server directly? I guess I just do
not see the picture here, but I am pondering this question quite a bit
now... Is it perhaps that I do not need the libraries to connect to a
DB server and connect to "another" app instead?
