Hi,
I have discovered that if you use datasnap in a Delphi 8 application,
unicode characters are not displayed properly unless the winodws locale
is correct and that the data is not updated properly.
I am begining to supspect (but am not so sure) that there might be
issues with midas.dll that is causing these issues. It might be caused
by the fact that the server and clients are running in different
version of windows (server in Thai version and Client in Arabic).
So my questions are pretty simple, I need to make some dicisions based
on the answers.
1. Does the VCL.NET support unicode properly and flawlessly?
2. Will midas.dll be updated to handle Unicode properly?
Paras
