September 30 "La Newsletter Borland" from Borland France,
translated excerpts & summary:

top ten if it wasn't written in french)

- Borland joining JTC
New products:
- Caliber RM 2005 / Starteam 2005
- JBuilder 2005
- Server Trace 3
- Together Edition Microsoft Visual Studio 2.0
Focus:
Generic blurb + British Telecom story, mentionned products:
- Caliber RM / Together ControlCenter / Starteam
- JBuilder
- C#Builder
- C++ Builder
- Optimizeit
(all the XXX Builder are only swiftly mentionned in passing)
Partnerships:
- partnership with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System
(very upbeat tone)
Did anyone spot what's not even mentionned?
Apparently Nick's alarm bells haven't reached down yet...
AMOF the only commercial mention of Borland & Delphi in the same
sentence I've seen for aeons where not in Borland France mail or
advertisement, but in advertisements from our Delphi reseller (where
funnily enough, SA option is mentionned for the Pro version,
for which it's not very interesting financially, but not mentionned
for Entreprise/Architect... there still remains some explaining to do
in the internal commercial channels...).
Finally, there is a currently a "promotional pack" with 2 licenses...
but it's more expensive than buying the 2 licenses separately!!!
1x 2870 € vs 2x 1195 € for the Entreprise update, and the pack comes
with limited licenses, LOL? :(
