I started with Turbo Pascal 1 month before University started- but that
was sheer coincidence and was completely unintentional. When I
discovered we were using Turbo Pascal for the whole first year of
university I knew I would coast through it because I'd effectively
taught myself the language in about a month's worth of use. And that
after coming from a BASIC and 6502 assembly background without using
official tutorial material- just the demos that came with Turbo Pascal!!
They _WERE_ good demos and the help was good too. :-) (I don't mean to
imply the Delphi demos aren't good now- they still are)
Cheers,
Kevin.
