Count me in too, please. I'm a chemical engineer (currently finishing
my PhD thesis :-)). I have been attending the Turbo Pascal course at
the university - also 2 hours per week (it was a monday morning, IIRC)
but I didn't learnt anything new there (self-study has always been
crucial for me).

Me too. I used to be a programmer-hobbyist, self learnt Motorola
MC68000 assembler and Pascal on my Amiga 600/1200. Later I migrated
towards TP 5/6 for DOS (high school) and then I settled with Delphi 3
onwards (done some scientific apps internally for our university with
it). Several years ago I got a chance to work as a Delphi programmer
for some company in the chemical/explosives industry - and I love my job!
