I needed a new laptop and 64bit stuff is starting to get closer,
so I ordered Clevo OEM by Sager
http://www.portablez.com/content/0/47asmall-v.php
So I am researching putting a 64bit OS on the computer. I check
out Win XP 64 bit and to my amazement, it doesn't support any
.NET framework. Non at all. So if you are interested in getting
your feet wet (and muddy) in the 64 bit world today on Windows,
native is the only thing you can do. I am assuming this is true,
because only high performance needs are going to migrate to
Win 64 right away and when it comes to performance, native is
the only way to go.
So I guess I will have to go with Win 32 and Linux 64. I am
planning testing Chrome, and I can't on Win 64.
