I think you are missing the point: In a free market, demand /always/
determines price. That's, well, the fundamental definition /of/ a free
market.

All right, put those in there if you need to. The point remains,
though: In a free market, prices are determined by demand. Always.
That's the definition.

Ah, well I missed that. A vendor is clearly free to offer any price
they want and any terms they want in the sale of their property.
