If you found my post funny, then this is hilarious!
Provided the data does not exceed the DVD capacity, it is of course
feasible. It is known technology. It happens all the time, parallel CD
and DVD distributions with the same content.

It is like saying ten years ago that "we can't put this diskette
installation on CD, we tried, it did not work".

You did not have the time perhaps, or the resources, that's another
thing. But being not possible? :-)
Already the next year you'll have to do it and have to make it work, I
bet the next major Delphi release will come on both medias.

You already do. I doubt CD printing and burning is done in-house. To
extend your philosophy, maybe you personally show up with
Delphi, just to make sure nothing happens underway? Then we can have a
cup of tea together :-)

It has not been mentioned before my post. And I build my assumption on
your claim that it would double the costs.

Well, just to make one thing perfectly clear. I am satisfied with
getting CDs. I would prefer a DVD, you should have seen the pile of
software CDs I have.. but it is ok for me with CDs.
It is just interesting to discuss this topic because of being in the
business myself. Although my products do fit well on a CD :-)
