You must be looking in the wrong place? There are tons of new stuff.

Slower yes but if you defragment your disks, it will help a lot! Runs fine
on my 900 Mhz/ 512M RAM laptop. I use SpeedDisk and set it up everynight to
run at 4 am.

You're only interested in Win32. Others need both Win32 and .NET and still
others work with mixed projects that need to support C# assemblies. It's
wonderful!

It's a great leap forward and quite usable and with the forthcoming patch
will make it much more stable. I think you should stick to D7 or spend some
serious time understanding the new environment.
